Holy Ghost

Holy Ghost – title case – The name, which describes the function of the third person in the Godhead as a living being, which is not fleshly or material, that stresses His person and His individual personality

Holy Ghost appears 90 times in Scripture: never to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; 25 times to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew-John); 28 times to Israel in the transition book of Acts; 14 times to the Body of Christ in the transition book of Acts; 14 times to the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace (Romans-Philemon); and 9 times to Israel in their tribulation books (Hebrews-Jude).

The usages are case sensitive, always in Title Case, with no functioning by God in this capacity prior to Matthew 1:18, or at all in the book of Revelation.

Holy Ghost refers to the 3rd person of the Godhead, read The Truth According to Scripture and notice the difference between, “God and god”, “Spirit and spirit” and “ghost and Ghost”.

In Acts 2, which is Israel only, the members of Israel’s Little Flock were filled with the Holy Ghost.  Today, in the Dispensation of Grace, no one is filled with the Holy Ghost; we are sealed BY the Holy Ghost and have the spirit of Christ.
