Remnant

RemnantRemaining portion of an article that has been used or destroyed.

God used this word 92 times in Scripture: 86 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; Once to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew thru John); Twice to the Body of Christ in the Gospel of Grace book of Romans; and 3 times to Israel in their tribulation book of Revelation.

People today think of a remnant as the left-over trash, or scrap-pieces, of a project.  However, throughout Israel’s Masoretic Text Old Testament, the nation of Israel has been reduced to a remnant several times, leaving a surviving few to carry on the linage of God’s promise to Abraham.

In the Dispensation of Grace, the remnant is actually the great multitude of people, of all nations, including Israel, that choose to either reject God outright, or reject God by following religion (Christianity).  The faithful of God are in an institution that God calls the Church the Body of Christ, which is the main article that God is concerned with: It is an extremely small portion of mankind.  At the end of the Dispensation of Grace, God removes His portion (the Body of Christ), leaving a massive remnant to face His wrath and judgement.  Don’t be deceived, there are no Christians in the Body of Christ.  Christianity is a religion invented by men.

After Israel’s great tribulation, the remaining few of Israel (remnant) will consist only of the faithful of God; members of Israel’s Little Flock Church, Hebrews: No gentiles allowed.  The majority of Israel (Jews) will be destroyed and the remnant of Israel (Israel’s Little Flock Church) will then rule with Jesus as a kingdom of priests over the entire world of remnant gentiles, which constitutes Israel’s promised kingdom.
