God used this word in its various forms 54 times in Scripture: 33 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; 10 times to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew thru John); Twice to the Body of Christ in the transition book of Acts; 3 times to the Body of Christ in the Gospel of Grace (Romans thru Philemon); and 6 times to Israel in their tribulation books (Hebrews thru Revelation).

The activity that Jesus Christ was given to accomplish when He came to earth was two-fold: to fulfill God’s prophecies in Israel’s Scripture and to be the payment for the redemption of creation.

Prophecy foretold, since the world began, that God would use Israel to redeem earth.  But it wasn’t until God’s revelation of the Mystery through Paul, which was kept secret since the world began, that God disclosed His plan for the redemption of heaven.

Paul finished God’s purpose for him in establishing the Church the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace, and the Revelation of the Mystery; God’s plan for the redemption of heaven.
