Eschew

EschewTo refuse to use or participate in; Stand aloof from; Shun; Avoid.

This word appears 4 times in Scripture: 3 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament book of Job; and once to Israel’s Little Flock in their tribulation book of I Peter.

In Scripture, eschew is always used in conjunction with evil; it is almost the opposite of covet.

In modern Christianity, instead of using the correct word in their invention of their false doctrine of excommunication, they redefined the word accursed.
