Assembly

AssemblyA group gathered for a purpose.

AssembleCollect into one place.

God used this word in its various forms 114 times in Scripture: 99 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; 5 times to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew thru John); 3 times to Israel in the transition book of Acts; 4 times to the Body of Christ in the transition book of Acts; and 3 times to Israel’s Little Flock in their tribulation books (Hebrews thru Revelation).

In all forms of “assemble”, a person in authority causes the gathering and has a purpose for doing so.

No form of the word ‘assemble’ occurs in the Gospel of Grace.  In the Dispensation of Grace members of the Body of Christ come together by choice, not by the instruction of, or purpose of, someone in authority.  We are told that we should come together, but we are not compelled to do so.

In Christianity, they compel their followers to gather for the purpose of religious indoctrination, control, and the gathering of money.  As the basis of their authority, they falsely invoke their various forms of Israel’s Sabbath observance, Israel’s Laws, and Israel’s ‘tithes and offerings’.
