Amen

AmenLORD do so: perform thy words.

This word occurs 85 times in Scripture: 35 times in the Masoretic Text Old Testament (Genesis-Malachi); 4 times in Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew-John); 27 times to the Body of Christ (Romans-Philemon); 19 times to Israel in the tribulation books (Hebrews-Revelation).

In the Septuagint, which is not Scripture, ‘Amen’ was repurposed as a religious invocation; to be nothing more than a solemn expression of belief or affirmation uttered at the end of a prayer, and redefined to mean ‘I believe and I agree’ … but the religious definition and use is not Scriptural, it is simply spiritual ignorance according to the wisdom of men; a perversion of the truth.

Jeremiah 28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform thy words which thou hast prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD’S house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.

Revelation 7:12 shows the result of the LORD performing His words. Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever.  Amen.

Revelation 3:14, Amen (title case) is the person from the beginning of creation that is the true and faithful witness. And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
