Divers – An indefinite numeral word expressing multiplicity.
God used this word 37 times in Scripture: 21 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; 7 times to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament (Matthew thru John); Once to the Body of Christ in the transition book of Acts; 3 times to the Body of Christ in the Gospel of Grace (Romans thru Philemon); and 5 times to Israel’s Little Flock in their tribulation books (Hebrews thru Revelation).
Modern dictionaries say that “Divers is the archaic form of the word Diverse”. This is grossly incorrect … it is WRONG. The true definitions of these words are different.
Another prime example of a Corruption of Scripture by changing a true definition.
