Gospel – a conjunction of the words “God” and “spell”; a message that God has spelled out.

The term “gospel” only appears in the New Testament.  There are more than 16 gospels contained in Scripture between the books of Genesis and Revelation.  According to the Scriptural definition of “gospel” there are in excess of 26 messages spelled-out by God for His people.  The gospels are not necessarily trans-dispensational; there are several gospels in every dispensation.  You need to know which of the more than 26 gospels contained in Scripture actually pertain to you now in the Dispensation of Grace!

Each of these gospels are a specific message that is “spelled out by God” for the purpose that they be preached and lived by dispensationally.  It is literally the message from God that contains the power to produce salvation to a particular dispensation or trans-dispensationally, as the context dictates.

Romans 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.

I Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

Galatians 3:8 And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.

This being a reference to Genesis 17, wherein, God Himself preached this particular gospel to Abraham; God spelled out for Abraham how He would justify Israel and the heathens (gentiles).

There are three categories of gospels, and clear distinctions, which must be fully understood when dealing with ‘the gospel’.

The first category is the basis of all that God is doing and is trans-dispensational.

The second category is exclusively to the Body of Christ.

The third category is exclusively to Israel, which is divided into two separate categories of its own; pre-Dispensation of Grace and post-Dispensation of Grace.
