Concupiscence – To be very desirous of; To long for or covet.
God used this word 3 times in Scripture; all in the Gospel of Grace to the Body of Christ.
The Catholic Church changed the definition to what we see today … “Ardent, improper, or illicit desire; lustful feeling”. With their modified definition, the word is focused on sexual activity, which is not true. It can include sexual desires, but it is by no means exclusively sexual.
