ChestA large strong box, typically made of wood, and used for valuables, storage, or transport.

God used this word 7 times in Scripture: all in the Masoretic Text Old Testament.

In 6 instances, it means a wooden box to hold valuables; specifically, the place to make a collection for money.  In one instance it is a reference to a large strong box used for transport.

Modern dictionaries have expanded the meaning to include the upper torso.  But God is very specific in His use of words.  The upper torso is actually the “breast”.
