Charm – (n)An incantation (the chanting of words that are believed to cast a spell or perform other magic).

Charmer – (n) One who casts spells; One who has the power of fascinating.

Charming (v) Chanting or reciting verses of magical power.

God used this word five times in Scripture.  Every occurrence of this word is to Israel in the Masoretic Text Old Testament.

Two of the uses of this word are a reference to teachers of false doctrine, which today would be the preachers of religion; especially Christianity.

In Israel’s Old Testaments, their Masoretic Text Old Testament and their Koine Greek Old Testament, witchcraft, familiar spirits, and charmers were valid concerns; a dispensation of Divine Intervention and satanic intervention.

In the Dispensation of Grace, driven by the false doctrine of Christianity, through their teaching of Divine Intervention and satanic intervention, people believe in magic spells and evil spirits, which is nothing more than religious superstitions.

According to Rightly Divided Scripture, today there is no Divine Intervention or satanic intervention, witchcraft, familiar spirits, charmers, etc.; they are simply religious superstitions.  It makes sense that since these things are no longer valid that the meanings have changed.

Charm(n) A pleasing quality; An irresistible power to please and attract; Any item worn to avert evil.

Charmer – (v) One who wins people over by treating pleasingly and/or instilling delight.

Charming – (adj) Enchanting, delightful.

Today, there is nothing magical or mystical about charms or charming.  They are simply a form of enticement, which can be used for good or evil intent.
