BeseechTo ask urgently and fervently.

God used this word 70 times: 37 times to Israel in the Masoretic Text Old Testament; 6 times to Israel in the Koine Greek Old Testament; 23 times by Paul in the Dispensation of Grace (never to God); 4 times in the tribulation books of Hebrews thru Revelation.

Of the 37 occurrences in Israel’s Masoretic Text Old Testament, the overwhelming usage is man to God.

The 6 occurrences in Israel’s Koine Greek Old Testament books of Matthew thru John, 5 of them are people seeking a healing from Jesus, and one is the devils of a possessed man talking to Jesus.

In all 23 occurrences in the Dispensation of Grace, it is men (usually Paul) addressing people; most instances are a plea to believe God.

The 4 occurrences in Israel’s tribulation books of Hebrews thru Revelation, again it is person-to-person.

No place in Scripture since the beginning of the Dispensation of Grace, has anyone been instructed (overtly or by example) to beseech God for anything.
