Abomination/Abominable – Morally vile, loathsome, and detestable.
This word, both forms, is used 176 times in Scripture: 167 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; 3 times to Israel in their Koine Greek Old Testament books of Matthew thru John; Once to the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace (Romans thru Philemon); and 5 times to Israel’s Little Flock in their tribulation books (Hebrews thru Revelation).
Abominable describes an action or element. Abomination is the past-tense form of abominable.
God puts homosexuality in the same category as beastiality; an abomination worthy of death. It defiles the person, the nation, and the land.
