Abhor – To loathe, have an aversion for, and regard with repugnance and dislike intensely enough to shrink back with horror or dread and shudder at.
This word is used in its various forms 43 times in Scripture: 41 times to Israel in their Masoretic Text Old Testament; and twice to the Body of Christ in the Dispensation of Grace.
The most abhorred things that God lists are homosexuality, beastiality, and idolatry/sacrilege.
